The owner of the farm let the kids run after and catch chickens. Ben loved the idea, but didn't really have a plan in mind. He would just run like crazy, and then when he finally got close to a chicken he would pause a bit, and then start running again. Then he got a little distracted. Here he is with a toy he found in the mud.
Finally, Joel caught a chicken and gave it to Ben. He wasn't too sure about the whole experience.
At the end of the farm tour every kid got to ride a horse. Ben immediately chose Prince (the biggest horse, and the only "boy") as his ride. He acted totally relaxed and unafraid, but after he got home he said, "I think that horse wanted to put me in his belly!"
